DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – People stopped by Hy-Vee for more than just groceries on Saturday. UnitedHealthcare and Hyvee are offering a mobile health fair series in Davenport called “Healthy You.”
People can learn about health risk assessments, recipes, and even meet with a dietician.
Brianne Muhlenbruck is the Marketing and Community Outreach Specialist for UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. She said the goal is to share information about healthy lifestyles and habits to encourage a healthier community.
“I think it just promotes a healthier lifestyle, a healthier well-being. I think, certainly too, it helps you with managing those chronic conditions and things like that, so just being healthy overall I think has a lot of benefit,” said Muhlenbruck.
The mobile health fairs will also make stops in Cedar Rapids, Council Bluffs, Des Moines, Sioux City, and Waterloo.
